On 15th May 2014, Katong Toastmasters Club celebrated its 9th anniversary! It was a joyous occasion of celebration! Club President Joni spoke about how being in a risk zone is where all change, growth and transformation takes place.  She shared the story of a mother eagle that pushes her eaglets out of the nest to help them find their wings and soar. In the same way, sometimes we need to push people out of their comfort zone to help them achieve their potential and reach greater heights. 4 speakers took to the stage this evening. P2 speaker Eliz in her speech Generalists vs Specialists questions the age-old saying that a Jack of all trades is a Master of none. She shares with us three benefits of being a Jack of all trades or generalist: (1) career progression, (2) business profits (thin

Bitterness has many good friends who came crowding into my heart along with him. His good friends are resentment, anger and misery. But I got really sick of them. I decided to kick them
