Synopsis of Chapter Meeting on 17 Nov 2011
6 visiting toastmasters attended the club meeting. They were Narvin(Marine Parade TMC), Stanley(NUSS TMC), Letchumanan(Bedok), Christine, Othman and Tracie(NOL TMC). For the prepared speeches, Justin Fong presented his P2 speech (Organize your speech), Military Leadership, Best Practices for the Business world. He spoke confidently about 3 leadership skills, a) understanding commander's intent, b) decision making and c) after action review. He equated doing business as fighting a war, and with the right leadership skills, one can meet and satisfy the demands of consumers.
