Alliteration refers to the repetition of the beginning sounds of words, as in "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers", "long-lived", "short shrift" and "the fickle finger of fate". (from dictionary.com) A triad is a group of three, especially of three closely related persons or things. (from dictionary.com) Put the two together and you get   ALLITERATIVE TRIADS , that means groups of three words beginning with the same sounds.  I love alliterative triads. SYNOPSIS FOR CHAPTER MEETING 21 JUNE 2012 Malcolm kicked off the meeting by asking what was everyone's favourite seafood. Some love salmon sushimi (Lynn), some are lobster lovers, prawn lovers (Joni, Benjamin Gan, James, Roann), others crave oysters (Brian), salted-egg crab (Seh Leng, Abraham) and chilli crab (Shahnawaz). In her Opening Address, outgoing President Ida encouraged us to "talk the talk and walk the walk", to step out and reach out to others when the situation requires it.
