P4 speaker Parul shares about Adventures in the Air. She related an entertaining string of anecdotes she encountered on a plane ride, which had us all in stitches. She was voted Best Speaker for that evening.
P5 speaker Roann received a ribbon for reaching the half-way mark of the CC journey. She shared about her dream wedding and how it finally came true for her.
P6 speaker Aarti shared her concerns as a mother parenting her two boys.
Club pioneer Benjamin Gan was voted Best Evaluator for his evaluations of Ram's and Aarti's speech. For Ram's speech, he suggested the use of signal words to create clear transitions between key points of the speech. For Aarti, he commended her use of dialogue and storytelling to enliven her speech. He suggested slowing down when relating an important point and injecting more excitement in her voice or increasing volume for greater emphasis.
We welcome a visitor Ava Ang who will be joining us as a new member.
