MYTH NO 1: YOU CANNOT GET ENOUGH PROTEIN ON A VEGETARIAN DIET The World Health Organization recommends 0.8 gram of protein daily for every kilogram of body weight for both man and woman. Using this guideline, a 50 kilogram person needs 40 grams of protein a day, while a 70 kilogram person needs 56 grams of protein daily.
