Distinguished Club Award

Katong Toastmasters Club has achieved the Distinguished Club Award for the term 2009-2010!

Under the Distinguished Club Program (DCP), clubs are given awards as follows:

Achieve any five of 10 goals Distinguished Club
Achieve any seven of 10 goals Select Distinguished Club
Achieve any nine of 10 goals President's Distinguished Club

These are the goals we achieved for the term 2009-2010:
Membership Base: 17
Membership to Date: 20

SYNOPSIS FOR CHAPTER MEETING 21 JUNE 2012 Malcolm kicked off the meeting by asking what was everyone's favourite seafood. Some love salmon sushimi (Lynn), some are lobster lovers, prawn lovers (Joni, Benjamin Gan, James, Roann), others crave oysters (Brian), salted-egg crab (Seh Leng, Abraham) and chilli crab (Shahnawaz). In her Opening Address, outgoing President Ida encouraged us to "talk the talk and walk the walk", to step out and reach out to others when the situation requires it.
