HJ in her debut Icebreaker speech shared about how food connects people. 
She recalls childhood days in Korea where her mother would gather the whole family 
to make kimchi and how they bonded over that experience.

In her P3 (Get to the Point) speech "I am the Power", Swapna shared 3 tips on how 
we can stay up. (1) Believe in yourself, (2) concentrate on positive things,
(3) get inspired and be an inspiration to others.

in AP2 Conquering the Cold Call (Persuasive Speaking Manual), Geri showed us 
how to handle cold calls in a role play with Aaron as the prospective client.

In her AP3 The Monodrama (Interpretive Reading Manual), Leena brought us back in time playing Emily of Emerald Hill.  She enacted several scenes from the monodrama with much emotion and sensitivity.

Happy New Year and I hope you had a refreshing and revitalising break during the recent year-end festive period. 3 TIPS ON USING ALLITERATIVE TRIADS

Alliteration refers to the repetition of the beginning sounds of words, as in "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers", "long-lived", "short shrift" and "the fickle finger of fate". (from dictionary.com) A triad is a group of three, especially of three closely related persons or things. (from dictionary.com) Put the two together and you get   ALLITERATIVE TRIADS , that means groups of three words beginning with the same sounds.  I love alliterative triads. I like to use them in my speeches and evaluations. It helps me to remember my points easily too! Here are 3 tips on making alliterative triads work for you. (1) Use alliterative triads as heading for the points in your speech.  Let's say in your speech, you want to share three points.
